Corbera de Llobregat is located in the Baix Llobregat, in the Garraf-Ordal mountains. It has an area of 18.5 km. and a population of over 10,000 inhabitants.
There is a rich natural heritage surrounding the villa. Forests, natural springs, spectacular rock formations and magnificent views over the Rafamans valley and Llobregat Delta.
The Historic Town of Corbera de Llobregat, known as the Millennial Corbera, dates from 992. The old town is made up of unique buildings of great architectural value. A few miles we found the Monastery of Sant Ponç, an eleventh-century Romanesque monastery of great beauty and historical value.
There are many popular and traditional festivals throughout the year, being the largest annual cultural event the performance of the Pessebre Vivent de Catalunya, a living Nativity over 50 years of history.
The Corbera de Llobregat City Council has a Tourist Information Point where it offers visitors an audio tour to visit the historic center. Also, guided tours to both the Millennial Corbera as the Monastery of Sant Ponç.
